METHOD OF COLLECTION
All information is collected by contacting
the actual businesses via telephone research but because we have
not obtained their agreement in writing this does not constitute
an 'opt-in' list. This method of collection however does comply
with the Data Protection Act for business emails and the use of
these emails for marketing purposes is within the law. |
THE LAW
Current legislation allows you to send unsolicited emails to
business addresses on business matters. If, however, a data
subject requests to be removed from your email database, you have
a legal obligation to comply with their request and you must not
send any further emails. |
BOUNCEBACKS
It is realistic to expect between 20% and 25% bouncebacks. This is not a reflection of the quality of the data
but is almost entirely determined by spam filters and the
individual settings of the intended recipients' servers. There are
a number of factors which may contribute to your email being
rejected and more often than not the reason will not be obvious to
you. |
